What are you reading right now?
I just finished up Eve Linn’s harrowing new chapbook, “Model Home”, just out from Glass River Press. The poems are bone-sharp, skillfully rendered, and stayed with me long after I read them. The editions are hand-bound, by a new press that is doing beautiful work in the world. I can’t recommend the press, and Eve’s chapbook, enough.
What’s next for you?
I just had a chapbook come out through Alley Cat Books (“Quantifiable Data”), which is available for purchase on my site (https://www.julywesthale.com/shop). My second poetry collection, “Via Negativa” is coming out through Kore Press this December, and I’m in the process of translating the collected works of Patagonian poet Rolando Cardenas. I’ve also just started a new Medium publication, PULP, which is a reproductive rights/bodies magazine, found here: https://medium.com/pulpmag.
