Song (i)

I have placed logic in conversation with doeskin. The skin of a doe involves a special aesthetic. It is the same aesthetic as the perfectly centered pond. The perfect surface of invariability. No matter how long I stare into it it is difficult for me to believe that there is no depth there. That there is no possible organic integration of, for example, doe and skin. Every hour I grapple with water.
